This project, developed as part of the Master’s in Transportation and Automobile Design at Politecnico di Milano, aims to design seats and a steering wheel for Jeep, aligning with the brand’s core values of robustness, functionality, and a spirit of adventure. The seats were designed with a focus on ergonomics and modularity, using materials resistant to water, abrasion, and extreme temperatures, along with adjustable elements for greater versatility to meet various needs, such as transporting equipment or engaging in outdoor activities. The steering wheel features a functional and intuitive design, with an anti-slip coating, integrated multifunctional controls, and a central digital display that enhances the driver’s connection and control over the vehicle. The color and trim palette combines earthy tones and natural textures with technical black and metallic details, creating harmony between modernity and Jeep’s essence. On the main dashboard, the use of wood adds sophistication while preserving the brand’s authenticity and ruggedness.
