LAD AWARDS NA KUYA EXPO BRASIL
The LAD Awards, part of the prestigious LAD Festival, highlighted the best of Latin American design, with a unique exhibition held at the Ceará Design Center (KUYA), in Fortaleza. The exhibition was organized to celebrate the more than 200 projects awarded in four categories: bronze, silver, gold and grand prix.
The main difficulty of the project was the need to accommodate all these creations in a relatively compact exhibition space and with a limited production time. The solution found by the the design team (Pedro Lides, Monica Rodrigues and Poro Arq) was creative and functional: the bronze projects were displayed on strategically positioned televisions, ensuring dynamic viewing, while the silver and gold pieces were displayed on an impressive strip of more than 60 meters, arranged in front and verse and grand prix in individual strips embracing the space and creating an immersive experience.
To complement the exhibition and further spread the works throughout the environment, interactive totems were installed at the Estação das Artes Cultural Complex, offering visitors different ways of connecting with the visual and conceptual content of the projects. This skillful organization allowed Latin American design to shine, despite the challenges imposed, making the exhibition a success with the public and critics.
